Sa mga experts, need you advice and opinion on laptop batteries. Tinoud ba nas mas better ipa hurot una ang battery before e full charged to extend battery life? Matud pa sa mga manual, it does not matter kai lithium daw ang battery parehas sa cellphone. Pero then again layo raman ang battery replacement price for cellphone and laptop

How bout if we use our laptops mostly naka sak2x. If that's the case, better be e remove ang battery rather than naka full charged na then naka sak2x ra gihapon sa power supply? If e remove pud nato ang battery para direct ra ang power supply (like desktop) better ba na e empty daan ang battery before e remove or e fully charged daan before tagu-an and e store sa hunos

Hopefuly naa maka tubag aning mga myths about laptop batteries kai dili pud lalim mag palit ug bag-o battery hehe

I forgot where I got this:

-Lithium Batteries are most stressed at low and high charges. Ideally, go no lower than 30%, and no higher than 90% except if you need to do a full cycle to reset the gauges.

-Keeping it topped off by always having it plugged in like a desktop is a sure fireway to kill it quick. If you rarely move it, unplug it anyways and let it discharge a bit, then re-plug it before it gets too low.

-constantly doing near 100% discharges is another surefire way to kill it fast, unfortunately this habit has lived on from when it was actually good, when most consumer gadget batteries were Nickel based.

-Heat will increase its stress exponentially if its hot when discharging/charging, keep 'er cool.

-For long term storage, discharge to 40% and keep in a cool dry place.

@TS: To prolong the battery life for your laptop always do proper Calibration. Always unplug when the battery is fully charged and when its prompting you that needs to be charge you charge it. Simple as that then you do battery calibration in proper way.

That's what I'm doing or routine every now and then thats why my battery is always good dili dali ma drained. I can even reach 4 hours even it says 2-3 hours lang ang akong battery life sa lappy.

My laptop is 6-7 months right now and I never thought this how the battery goes well.

ako buhat most of the time huwaton jud nako hangtud mo red na ang indicator before i plug ang charger then always jud nako i disconnect once full na then run on battery lang jud... inana akong cycle...

i am still getting an hour of battery life (balanced) on my "almost" 4 years old acer travelmate 6291 laptop (original battery pa siya).

holy?! thanks for the link bro! i'm doing it wrong, hahaha! will try it then... murag akong laptop mo notify naman kung less 30% or 20% ba toh? so i guess, i charge na nako by that threshold and let's see...
