Celtics send Daniels to Kings
Celtics get:
• 2017 second-round pick
Kings get:
• F-G Marquis Daniels
• Cash considerations
• Official release
Instant Analysis (Feb. 24): With Daniels likely out for the season with a neck injury, this may seem like a pointless trade. But it allows the Celtics to free up a roster spot and reduce their luxury tax payment by $2.4 million. They send enough cash in the deal to make it worth the Kings' trouble.

Bobcats' Wallace goes to Trail Blazers
Blazers get:
• F Gerald Wallace
Bobcats get:
• F Dante Cunningham
• C Joel Przybilla
• C Sean Marks
• 2011 first-round pick (from Hornets) and 2013 first-round pick
• Cash considerations
• Official release
Instant Analysis (Feb. 24): With Brandon Roy returning, LaMarcus Aldridge playing the best basketball of his career, and with other West playoff teams selling off their stars, the Blazers chose to be buyers at the deadline, adding a versatile forward who will help them on both ends of the floor. The Bobcats begin looking to the future, shedding long-term salary and adding picks.

Rockets' Brooks traded to Suns
Suns get:
• G Aaron Brooks
• Official release
Rockets get:
• G Goran Dragic
• Future first-round pick
Instant Analysis (Feb. 24): The Rockets swap an expiring contract in Brooks (restricted this summer) for a pick and a more traditional point guard in Dragic, who has a team option for next season. With the acquisition of Brooks, last season's Most Improved Player, the Suns add talent for their playoff push.

Thunder trade for Nazr Mohammed
Thunder get:
• C Nazr Mohammed
Bobcats get:
• F D.J. White
• G Morris Peterson
Instant Analysis (Feb. 24): Looking to get stronger on the boards, the Thunder add more size and experience to their frontline with Mohammed, who's on an expiring deal. The Bobcats continue to look toward the future by adding White, a former first-round pick who's never had much of an opportunity to prove himself.

Rockets' Battier traded for Thabeet
Grizzlies get:
• F Shane Battier
• G Ish Smith
Rockets get:
• C Hasheem Thabeet
• Future first-round pick
• Official release
Instant Analysis (Feb. 24): The Grizzlies push for their first playoff berth since 2006 with the return of Battier, who can make a good defensive team (currently ranking 10th) even better, while adding a calming veteran presence to a volatile locker room. The Rockets use another expiring contract to take a flyer on the disappointing Thabeet and compile more assets for future use.

Cavs gets Erden, Harangody from Celtics
Cavaliers get:
• C Semih Erden
• F Luke Harangody
• Official release
Celtics get:
• 2013 second-round pick
Instant Analysis (Feb. 24): The Celtics free up roster space so that they can possibly add veteran free agents who are waived after the deadline. The Cavs add two rookies to their frontcourt as they build for the future. Neither will be impact players, but Erden has the potential to be a solid bench center.

Celtics trade Perkins to Thunder
Thunder get:
• C Kendrick Perkins
• G Nate Robinson
• Official release
Celtics get:
• F Jeff Green
• C Nenad Krstic
• Official release
Instant Analysis (Feb. 24): In the most shocking deal of deadline day, the Celtics broke up the starting unit that has never lost a playoff series when healthy. By dealing Perkins, they sacrifice a defensive anchor, their trump card against the Magic, and someone who can help neutralize the Lakers' size advantage. With Green and Krstic, they add more offense and depth, but must hope that Shaquille O'Neal is healthy for the postseason. Green will be a restricted free agent this summer, but could, along with Rajon Rondo and Glen Davis, be big part of the post-Big Three Celtics. Krstic, also on an expiring contract, gives them a different look at center.
The Thunder have regressed defensively from last season. So they're sacrificing offense to add a much needed defensive anchor, clearly looking to match up better with the Lakers. Perkins' contract is expiring, but Robinson's is not, so they lose some salary flexibility this summer.

Clippers' Davis to Cavs for Williams and Moon
Cavaliers get:
• G Baron Davis
• 2011 first-round pick (Clippers)
• Official Release
Clippers get:
• F Jamario Moon
• G Mo Williams
• Official Release
Instant Analysis (Feb. 24): The Cavs, with an eye toward adding assets and Draft picks as they rebuild, trade one of the links to their LeBron James glory days in Mo Williams. In return, they get back Baron Davis, a former All-Star who played better this season than last in L.A.
With the Clippers building around All-Star Blake Griffin, though, they likely made this move to make sure Griffin knows the team is his. As part of the deal, Williams waived the early termination option in his contract for this summer, which means he'll be with the Clippers until at least 2012-13. In addition, Cleveland gets Los Angeles' pick, which has a decent shot of being in the lottery.

Hawks ship Bibby to Wizards for Hinrich
Hawks get:
• G Kirk Hinrich
• F Hilton Armstrong
• Official Release
Wizards get:
• G Mike Bibby
• G Jordan Crawford
• G Maurice Evans
• 2011 first-round pick (Hawks)
• Official Release
Instant Analysis (Feb. 24): Looking to upgrade their backcourt for a playoffs run, the Hawks added sharp-shooter Kirk Hinrich to the mix. Hinrich should be an improvement over Bibby at both ends of the court.

Warriors, Nets make trade for Murphy
Warriors get:
• F Troy Murphy
• 2012 second-round pick (Nets)
• Official Release
Nets get:
• F Brandan Wright
• C Dan Gadzuric
• Official Release
Instant Analysis (Feb. 24): This was basically a move to free up cap space for next season. Golden State is expected to buy out Murphy's contract to make him a free agent, while Wright's and Gadzuric's contracts -- worth about $11 million combined this year, close to the same as Murphy's -- also expire at the end of the season and help New Jersey clear salary cap space.

Hornets land Landry from Kings
Hornets get:
• F Carl Landry
• Official Release
Kings get:
• Marcus Thornton
• Cash considerations
• Official Release
Instant Analysis (Feb. 24): Looking to add some offense to their lineup, the Kings add the skilled 6-foot-4 Thornton, who when he started for the Hornets averaged just under 20 points.

Deron Williams goes to New Jersey
Nets get:
• G Deron Williams
• Official Release
Jazz get:
• F Derrick Favors
• G Devin Harris
• 2011 first-round pick (Nets)
• 2012 first-round pick (from Nets, originally owned by Warriors)
• Cash considerations
• Official Release
Instant Analysis (Feb. 24): A total shocker that no one saw coming. The Nets get their star in Deron Williams, and pay a lesser price to get him than they were offering for Carmelo Anthony.
The Jazz, meanwhile, clear a potential distraction (D-Will's contract is up after 2012) and get a former All-Star point guard (Harris) and a promising young big (Favors), as well as two potential lottery picks.

Carmelo Anthony to the Knicks
Knicks get:
• F Carmelo Anthony
• G Chauncey Billups
• F Renaldo Blackman
• G Anthony Carter
• C Sheldon Williams
• Official Release
Nuggets get:
• F Wilson Chandler
• G Raymond Felton
• F Danilo Gallinari
• C Kosta Koufous
• C Timofey Mozgov
• $3 million in cash
• 2014 first-round pick (from NYK)
• 2012 & 13 second-round picks
(from Knicks, originally owned by Warriors)
• Official Release
Timberwolves get:
• C Eddy Curry
• F Anthony Randolph
• 2015 second-round pick (from Nuggets)
• $3 million in cash
• Official Release
Instant Analysis (Feb. 22): After months of rumors and speculation, the Knicks finally got their man, bringing Carmelo Anthony to the one (and only) team he truly wanted to play for. Teaming 'Melo with Amar'e Stoudemire gives the Knicks a 1-2 scoring punch unrivaled by anyone north of South Beach.
But full credit goes to Denver for extracting a steep price. Seeing the wreckage left in Toronto and Cleveland when franchise players left in free agency with nothing in return, the Nuggets played this perfectly and were able to reap a significant bounty from the Knicks. Felton and Gallinari should be able to step in immediately and help ease (somewhat) the scoring burden that left when Anthony boarded a flight for LaGuardia.

James Johnson traded to Raptors
Bulls get:
• 2011 first-round pick (from Raptors, originally owned by Heat)
• Official Release
Raptors get:
• F James Johnson
• Official Release
Instant Analysis (Feb. 22): Johnson, the 16th pick in the 2009 NBA Draft, couldn't break into the Bulls' regular rotation. So the mercurial big man gets a new start in Toronto, where he joins a young-but-mostly inexperienced forward corps.
