    FYI:

ngano na dato ang singapore? compared sa pinas?

    Philippines
    Population - 2009 estimate 91,983,000

    Singapore
    2009 estimate 4,987,600 (36% foreigners)

    take away 36%

64% are locals less than 4 million ang local population.

dense na kaayo ato country.. di pa dyud bayad tax ang mga business then kurakoton pa dyud.

matod pa sa atong history, the decline of Philippines as a country happened only in the last 50 years or so. atong mga 1960's , our Philippines ranked as one of the best countries in the whole of Asia. It was second only to Japan in terms of economic performance. ana nga time atong nasud gi considered as the best country in the whole region of southeast asea. At that time too, the Filipino was considered as one of the most admired, one of the most talented, one of the most respected and adored persons in the whole of Asia.

dayon mga late 1960's, our Philippines started to decline, and a number of our neighbour countries began to overtake us. Our history shows that from late 1960s upto 1986, at least 4 of our neighbor countries overtook our Philippines-- first by Hongkong (which was separate from China at that time), followed by Singapore, then by South Korea, and then by Taiwan.
gkan atong EDSA 1, dunay upat na ka presidente nag led sa atong nasud og 25 na katuig ang milabay. og matud pa sa history, during this 25 years period, our Philippines continued to decline. At least 3 more of our neighbor countries in Southeast Asia surpassed our country – Brunei, Malaysia, and Thailand

i think at this moment, na overtikan na ta sa vietnam in terms of economic performance.

after 25 years kaha gkan karon, aha man padulong atong Philippines...magka worse kaha or naay progress..unsa kaha solution sa problema sa atong nasud. How can the corporate citizens be part of that solution? maayo cguro makabalo ta sa solution para maka adjust ta sa atonmg kaugalingon na mahimong part sa solution.

    1st idea...RIGHTEOUS OR GOOD LEADERSHIP.
practically every country in the world that has attained progress and prosperity was able to do so only by virtue of righteous or good leadership. daghan man unta kristiyano sa atong nasud, In the Book of Proverbs, for instance, it is stated there, in very clear words, that only righteousness exalts a nation. so daghan unta kabalo ana...

og matod pa ni Rick Warren - author of The Purpose-Driven Life, “The root cause of all the major problems in every country in the world today is corrupt leadership. It is the root cause of poverty, hunger, injustice, immorality and illiteracy.”

    2nd idea...GOOD CITIZENSHIP.
sa mga tigbasahan sa history, it shows that the peoples in these developed countries learned first to become good citizens before their countries attained high levels of progress and development.countries like United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, America, og uban pa. makita pod nato na sa atong mga silingan nga nasud sa asia. naay culture of discipline among people. mao ni isa sa dapat mabalik sa ato...culture of discipline. crucial kaayo ni, kay kung naa nay good citizenship, then mga maayong citizen ang mopuli og maayong leader!

Therefore, our quest for a better Philippines must begin with us!

pwede nato sugdan sa mga gagmayng butang..
Follow Traffic Rules. Follow the law

ang trafic rules kay naa man na sa atong law...if ma praktis tag follow ana then hinay2 pod ma praktis tag follow sa uban [pa natong law.

Adopt a scholar or a poor child.
cge lang tag reklamo daghan mga batang tulisan or kawatan nga naa sa dalan..but wala ta mag try og pangita og solusyon ani. sauna sa gubat sa vietnam og US, daghan kaayong g rescue ang mga americans na vietnamese og gidala sa US. Today, these Vietnamese in America have become rich and prosperous. And they have a beautiful program – a program that encourages every Vietnamese family in America to adopt as scholar one poor Vietnamese child in Vietnam. This means that if there are 1 million Vietnemese individuals or families adopting 1 scholar each, there are 1 million poor children being adopted as scholars in Vietnam. Clearly, there is so much love coming from overseas Vietnamese pouring into mainland Vietnam, helping its children go to school.

Why can’t we do the same to our 12 (or more)million out-of-school youth? Why don’t we find a way to send back to school these 12 (or more) million kids?
naa pay nakahinumdom dri sa pinaka special na kinaiya sa mga pinoy? BAYANIHAN?

Be a good parent. Teach your kids to love our country

mao nay nakanindot bein a parent, as a mother or father, naa kay oppurtunity na mahimong leader. unsaon nimo pagpadako sa imong anak/mga anak reflect on the kind of leader you are.

balik ta sa history...why man naka rule ang spanish sa Philippines sauna? thousand ra cla naa dri ang pinoy millions. To prevent the millions of Filipinos from uniting and staging a revolution against them, the leaders of the few thousand Spaniards in our country sowed the seeds of disunity among the Filipino people. The Spaniards sowed intrigue, envy and hatred among Filipinos, against their fellow Filipinos. As a result, Filipino families became jealous and envious of fellow Filipino families. Filipino villages and communities became envious of other Filipino communities and villages. Our historians say that this was made a policy of the Spaniards in the Philippines to prevent the Filipinos from becoming united as a people.
mao nay gipatay nila nato...our faith in each other.

“what lies before you, and what lies behind you, are tiny matters compared to what lies with you.”
    Ralph Waldo Emerson

within us...theres this very strong power...love...I believe that the real solution to our country’s problems is within us. It is in our hearts. It is not theories or economics that will make our country great and beautiful. it is our love for our country.. love can create TRUE greatness...

Maybe this is the greatest joke of this year! Only the friends and relatives of the Marcoses enjoyed the Boon ... while the rest of the population experienced the Bane!

My professor experienced hell in the hands of the Military: init nga plantsa sa iyang lapa lapa, kuryente sa iyang scrotum, buhusan ug tubig iyang baba pina agi sa imbudo, ang iyang pagkaon iyabo sa semento aron magkaon siya mura ug iro, igaid siya ug mga kadena, unya ang suga nga maka disorient niya ig interrogation .. usa ra ni siya sa thousands of filipinos who believed the truth and freedom for all and suffered the consequences during the Marcos era .. dili siya communist o leftist .. kusog man gani mangadye ug mosimba ...
Sa panghambog ni Bongbong (pero, he is a good person really; basin nasulsulan lang to say words prepared by some others), iyang nakalimtan ni ... and it is a great insult to the real heroes of our Democracy and Freedom .. their sacrifices were the first small steps towards EDSA! The People Power.

    Actually this is very true...
Ug wa lang milikoy si Marcos, The Philippines would have been very different..
Economy was blooming during his time, i mean at least during the time when he did good..
nagahaman lang jud xa sa Power niya... we would have bloomed into a very competitive modern country..
    Economy, Technological, Agricultural wise...
You cant deny he did primarily save the Philippines from a very long Economic Slump when he came to Office...
He kick started the modernization of our country, never ignored the importance of our Agricultural Wealth.
    But then again.....
Well.. I guess that's what the Quote "You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain. means...
and that was exactly what happened to him, he got too clingy with that stupid chair....

It's really hard to run a country full of debts...... you can't change it in just 6 years.
