my question is, why did the Knicks have to give up too much assets to get Melo, who wanted to come here, but Nets get D-Will for that weak package? wakekeke. .

Jazz are probably fed up with D-Will's diva attitude . Also , Nets' first round pick isn't bad at all cuz they should be somewhere between 1st-5th pick for next year's draft .

Utah might get nothing if DWill will not sign for extension thats why they trading him. DWill has not happy with the way Utah playing nowadays and might as well sign to another team next season.

And still New Jersey doesn't assures that DWill will sign on them next season. They need to prove that they are playoff caliber team. 21-4 win-loss record in order for them to seek into playoff spot.
