Default Where does MAC keep your .ipa files?

Since I have always synced my phone to windows, I now want it to sync to MAC.

The apps on my phone won't transfer, mac is asking to erase all of them.

So I want to manually transfer my IPA's on the PC to the MAC.

    Two questions:

1.) Will my save games transfer also?
2.) Where will I copy the IPA files to?

Of course if number one wont work that would really suck.

Ry gi buhat ni nako sa akong apps. Gi copy nako ang mga apps from my itunes mobile applications (/Music/iTunes/mobile applications) folder on my macpro then copied it to my itunes on my air. It added them to my Air's itunes library. However during syncing alot of the apps encountered a signature error and did not copy successfully to my iphone. I tried everything even uninstalling itunes then reinstalling again to no avail. What I did was delete all my apps on my Air and redownload everything again basing on my apps list on my other computer from the itunes appstore. Now it syncs properly. I wish their is a page in itunes that lists all the apps that we have purchased before sort of like a purchase history page so it will be easy to redownload them in the future.

    1) you need to copy your backups from the pc to your mac as well but this will not work since the backup is signature checked on where it was made.

To backup my saves I copied each of them from inside the app using ifunbox.

    2) just drag the ipas to your itunes. Itunes will automatically put them on your library.

    Read above for possible errors.

I had these errors on LEGIT APPS. Those using cracked apps and appsync might not encouter signature errors.

    @muzikfreakah;

open itunes then go to store tab and authorized ur mac first then it will ask u to sign in on ur itunes store account. then on that same tab u can check for available downloads.

or try to copy the apps put it on mobile applications folder as comicgeek suggested. but authorized first the computer which in ur case is ur new mac!..

hey ryan, i had exactly the same problem. i was able to solve this by resetting the warning messages on my phone. i think i right clicked on the iphone when it was connected on itunes... there should be an option like that. but still a good question at hand, where does apple store our ipa files... would love to know that as well.

sa Mac naa diri ang mga IPA files:

    /Users/Your Username/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media

To get the info about any file in your iTunes library you can simply right-click on a file then select Get Info and viola you will see the containing folder location.
