Greetings!

The Coalition for Better Education (CBE), is a non-government organization composed of various education stakeholders, from the academe, students, parents, government, and non-government to business organizations, committed to the vision of “CREATING EMPOWERED LEARNING COMMUNTIES”.Our programs and projects are aimed at creating and sustaining relevant and empowered learning environments and eventually achieving better education for all.

To kick off CBE’s10th Founding Anniversary in August 2011, we shall be holding a Media Launch and Photo Exhibit on March 23-25,2011 at Level 2 Rotunda Area Ayala Center Cebu. The three-day exhibit will feature the work of professional photographers and practitioners as well as our partners that capture pictures and images essaying education initiatives and how these initiatives led to “better” and “quality” education in Cebu in the last 10 years.The same photographs will be put on sale and proceeds will benefit CBE’s various education projects, which include teacher training, student development, mentoring for parents, para-teaching and feeding program.

Our exhibit area will be divided into two galleries, one of which is the Photo Showcase, where we invite professional photographers to display inspiring photos and images of education initiatives all over the country. Hereunder are the mechanics for the said showcase:

1. Each photographer is given a maximum of 4 photographs to mount in the exhibit. A 1x2 Panel board will be provided to each photo exhibitor;
2. Registration Fee of 500/photographer shall be assessed.
3. The size of each photo exhibit should be 9 x 12 inches poster-type
4. Photos in black and white and colored print are accepted;
5. A brief description about the photo should be included, as well as name of photographer, location and date of photo taken;
6. CBE shall handle all photo sales and remit to the photographer what is due to him/her as agreed by both parties.
7. Photo exhibitor shall provide for the selling price of each photo and CBE and the photo exhibitor shall agree on the commission due to CBE for each photo sold.
