8 lbs isn't that big a deal? dude! it's boxing!!! 8lbs in boxing is that big a deal, if you have been really watchin' boxing then you'll understand why it's ill-advised to move up 2 weight divisions in one try... that's the misconception people make when watchin' boxing. that little weight difference isn't that little at all...

that's why weight classes are made to protect fighters from bigger and stronger guys...
catch weight is not a legitimate weight div. it's a compromise...
