It's not that bad. Really. Some people have a way of expressing their feelings and it makes them happy and burn with pride within to see someone, a countryman, a Filipino, stepping up on the international stage and excelling. So, having all this pride inside him/her and coming short of English words, he/she simply types "Pinoy Pride". Not everyone is as eloquent or articulate as you.

It gives us something to be proud of despite the conditions we, the Filipino people, are living in right now. But we all know about all that, don't we?

Personally, when Manny beats Floyd Mayweather's face to a reddish-green pulp is the time that I will shout "Pinoy Pride!"

    mao jud do!

na hibung lng ko nga in a sudden, people are SO into futsal na ron. wtf. FB updates posting ♥ azkals.

nisakay ra man na ang uban sa hype ba. syempre "IN" gud na ron. LOL.
kung tinuod gyd na silang enthusiast anang futsal, ask them common trivia on it.
tan awn nato kung makatubag ba na.

there's nothing wrong with being proud sa pinoy accomplishments, of course we should be happy for it.
pero sometimes, we go to an extent nga OA ra kau ta mang react.

aw hinuon, wa man say nag ingon nga naay limit sa pagdayeg.
ilaha sad na, respetar lng ta. hihihi.

well let me ponder my point of views also....

I know nga daghan tingali masuko sa kani nga thread pero murag nasobraan naman ang mga pinoy ug kaarrogante kung magingon ani oi oi.

-how did you based your so called na subra-an? because you've read a lot of proud comments in the internet? well let me ask you, what if nobody cared? do you think you won't make a thread that has a title "why is it people don't care to support Filipinos?"

Im sure kadaghan na mo kita sa youtube, mga forums, ug uban pa diha. kung naay musikat nga pinoy or half pinoy ang mga ipangcomment sa mga taw kay 'pinoy pride!', 'proud to be pinoy', 'thats filipino, baby!' ug uban pa diha. frankly, the other nationalities dont care. they like them for their skills or talents.

of course you will see them there. its a forum it's a website. you expect people will be there for a purpose. and purpose of being proud of their race, their country, probably that's their way of stress reliever. who are we to judge what makes them happy?

dili ba nasobraan ra atong pagkaproud? you dont see americans saying 'american pride!' or chinese saying 'chinese pride'. katong nidaog ang indonesian-american nga si obama, you dont see or read 'indonesian pride' sa mga websites.

what if kung mo sobra? ma sakto? kaisa mag kuwang? or walay paki?

why do you think there's world cup or Olympics? it's there for entertainment. its there to determine who's the best among the rest. and be proud that they really are the best.

its getting crazy. sa mga website or videos about pinoy boxers, wrestlers, singing sensations, ug uban pang pinoy nga unsa diha, naa man juy daghang manghambog nga pinoy this and pinoy that. matod pa sa isa nga nabasahan nako nga post after daghan kaayo nakakita ug 'pinoy pride' comments, niana ang isa ka viewer nga "yes, manny pacquiao is the best boxer but im beginning to see that you Filipinos are the cockiest fantards in the world". sadly, i couldnt help but agree.

LOL that's just one view point of a jealous bastard. I'm sure if you really know the man who posted it personally... he's a fantard too.. in some other sports probably.

we can compare it to NBA,BASEBALL and NFL every state has it's own fantards.... and SO WHAT? its fun to be included to a winning fantards. rather be one of the jealous losers. LOL

    - you've just read the 2% of the 100% population of the filipinos. you just based you're generalization theory on a few posts.

I'm not saying I applaud racism. I'm just saying those trash talkers doesn't represent the whole Filipinos.

I don't really see anything wrong about being over proud. it sets goals and boost the morale of the person to do better. coz we live in a competitive world.

and you're just viewing the small perspective. look around you. business, economics, leadership, even how good your dog looks like. people are very over proud of what they can achieve.

if you're didn't feel proud in your entire life. then there's really something wrong with you.

If philippines will become equal to US then I will run and shout PINOY PRIDE
