It really depends on the style there into, but so far all my favorites are my professor in UP Fine Arts. First and foremost i would say the late master Martino Abellana, for without him UP Fine Arts would not be born. Plus his style has influence a lot of new generation of artist with the likes of Vidal, Pepito and even Galicano. In fact most of Abellana student are really top-notched artist nowadays. His skills and works are impressive in the varied type of mediums ranging from charcoal to oil, its just to sad i wasn't able to meet him. He passed away 6yrs earlier before i got into the program. But i have heard he was an amazing teacher its just i was unlucky i wasn't able to get first-hand education from him. Not everybody know the facts that the late Martino Abellana was a close friend and classmate of the late national artist Amorsolo. Another artist i like was also close friend of Martino Abellana was Prof. Jumalon. He was one of a kind cebuano artist who can create art or portrait utilizing butterfly wings. His works are internationally aclaimed and unique, sad to say but already passed away. The last at not the lest is my teacher Mr. Raymund Fernandez and my friend Efren.
maoba? kuyawa ni martino abellana no? grabe kaayu iya influence..
