    ok rana imo system bai 50 is like normal if u really want it to tone down then get a cooling system for ur proce or devise a better cooling for your chassis or why not both

    True it may affect the life span, instead of 15-20years its gonna be down to 9-10yrs, Intel conservatively rates their processors on the consumer end, running these things over 80c will not break the processor, probably you've upgraded twice by that time

    @Topic

    Might I recommend we standardize the settings for prime95 since there are a lot of settings and tests which will massive affect the temps, I can either post a peak of ~80c or just use a different test to impress you guys with 50c.

    If this is welcome then this is what I would recommend

    Prime95 v 26.4 build1 OR higher
    Under advanced, Enable round off checking
    For the actual testing phase click on small FTT since it generates most of the heat and then dont start it yet, click custom size to lock the maximum ftt size down, the bigger the ftt the cooler the processor will run.

    For intel users with compatible processors, only use RealTemp for AMD I dont really know what to recommend since I've been out of the loop for recommended temp reader for AMD.

    Indicate the version and bit of your prime, i.e. prime32 or 64bit
    and the version of the temp monitor, duration and ambient temp.

    This is a quick 10mins run with Prime95 v26.4.1 64bit, using the smallFTT then custom settings as stated above, with a 31.5c ambient temp ( used a room thermometer ) seems to be a very hot evening today.

    Anyway pictures say more than a thousand words
