^^ for me the solution for informal settlers not to exist is deny them installation of electricity and water. if you don't own the land or doesn't have the guarantee of the land owner to have such then nobody will squatt. and deny them also of basic services from LGUs. they shouldn't consider informal settlers as part of their community. because in the long run it's gonna be the LGUs who's gonna have the hand in demolishing such if the court orders it so.
