Thanks for sharing, everybody! Now, I see interesting and nice name meanings here but without stating your real first name, I wouldn't learn much. So if you don't mind, please tell us what your real name is.

Mine is Beau Ideal. Hastang pagka-lahi ra gyud noh? Murag duha ra mi nga naa ani nga ngalan, ang usa kay ang klasmeyt sa akong inahan (I'm trying to speak in straight Cebuano) sa hayskul pa siya. Wala pa hinuon ko nakahimamat ani niya, so dili ko sigurado kung naa pa ba ni siya sa Sugbo.

It's a french noun that means "a model of excellence" (gulp!). You can actually check it in dictionary.com! I know a few with the name Beau, but not Beau Ideal. So I encourage you, if you like my name at all, please name any of your future children Beau Ideal para naa na koy sangay.

I used to get uncomfortable with my name as friends and teachers (yeah, even teachers!) found it difficult to pronounce my name. Well now, I don't mind. It makes for a great converstation piece so no need for weather talk!

mine is "Yuri".. the original was "Uri" without a "Y" on it.. i just put the letter "Y" on it so people won't have a hard time on pronunciation..

if you spell URI, you would get "You Are I".. translated to tagalog means "Ikaw ay Ako"
