the more the better. =) what are you afraid of? like hello? it's just water guys come on! it can help you lose weight and make your skin glow. =) i suggest 3 liters per day. it can also boost your immune system.
Regarding the water after meals, i have talked to a scientist. According to him, cold water after meals is not good. Here's how it goes. In cool temperature, digestion is slow. In warm/hot, it is faster. Just like an ice melting. Going back, one more thing also is that, cold water and oily foods in a meal is not good. It may cause colon cancer as studies have proven. You see, water and oil are not soluble to each other. they don't mix. So, tap water is highly recommended. ^______^
i think the body is smart enough to regulate its own core temperature, keeping it within tight limits.. therefore, i don't really think it "slows up digestion"
also, i don't get the connection with the insolubility of oil and water. is this supposed to be the reason why this practice causes colon cancer, as you say?
yea? i may say that not all "bodies" are smart. that's why some of us has slow and fast metabolism. it's not just about what you think. it's about how the results of the studies shows from the researchers. people have done studies to know what's this all about and everything.
yes. that's just the bottom line of it. if you want to know more about it, you can search it yourself if you're really interested in it.
i was just listening with the scientist that we've talked to. i know he was just summarizing everything since it was just a little talk and since we know that there are terms we couldnt understand if he'd discuss to us everything.
haha. you don't need to argue with me. believe what you think and i'll believe what the studies show. =]
but, it's really up to you guys. =D drinking water doesnt harm your body unless you have some other conditions and it's clean.^_^
ug humba or mantikaon nga sudan, unya mo inum kag tubig dghan ma ka daut na cguro. Ki ang tubog ug mantika dili man mg sagol, mo lutaw man ang mantika. Ka sulai namo ug daghang tubig inyong na inum murag inig lihuk nimo ang tubig sa tiyan mg balod balod sad. hehe
yea? i believe i have the right to argue if i see your explanation having a lot of loopholes. slow or fast metabolism, whatever fluid of whichever temperature will warm down or cool up to match your body temperature as it reaches your stomach, much less the colon which is very far pa. and it's not just what I think, it happens to be the same point of view of Arthur Guyton, author of Textbook of Medical Physiology. so are you saying then that if we drink cold water, our insides stay cold? unsa ta, cold-blooded animals?
well can you please post links to that specific research study? I've searched the net and all I've seen are studies debunking this myth that cold water with meals causes cancer.
