I knew her name in my 4th year of High School because of CAT. she was one of the serious types who wanted a shot at being an officer in my school. As an added bonus, she was cute. I remember seeing her in her first few days in formation and I would just secretly observe from the distance. I slowly got the nerve to approach her. I tried not to make it obvious by also approaching the other trainees. That week, I scoured the files of our Corps-S7 and found her documents. I took her 1x1 picture and drew her portrait on my sketch pad.
I was excited knowing she would join the officer training for that summer. I would wake up at 4 AM and be at school before anyone else was there because she was always the first to arrive. Being the torpe that I was, I could not approach her. Maybe it was because I didn't want to make it look like I was biased towards her with the other trainees.
I was smitten by her beauty, her soft voice, and I was mesmerized by how she was so silent, so mysterious. Our CAT-I unit had this tradition of ordering trainees to shout their crushes names with an adjutant tone as if giving out a company command. She was one of the last trainees I asked. When she said her crush's name, I was crushed.
I kept it to myself for a while but then I told my friends. Through them, I learned she was fond of me since her 3rd year in high school. I was overjoyed but I couldn't look her straight in the eyes anymore because I was torpe.
The next few weeks after the training finished, I would visit the school hoping to get a chance to talk to her. It would mostly be small talks because I hated being teased.
i first accompanied her home from school pag May 25, 2006. It was an awkward moment. we had to drop by SM to get a ride on the V-hire terminal. When we walked from the jeepney terminal to the entrance, there were fireworks. We both stopped. smiled, and I remember in detail how my hand slowly brushed hers by accident but I quickly kept a distance because I was embarrassed of my sweaty palms. She maintained her serious looks but I knew she enjoyed my company because she would smile at times. I was happy.
Before we exited SM to go to the rear area where the V-hire terminal was first located, she told me that was as far as I could go. Her mom or her sister might see us and argue with her. struck, I had no choice but to agree. She smiled, turned around, and slowly walked. But then, I grabbed her hand and she turned around to look straight at my eyes. I told her she was special and told her how I felt. she did the same. we both smiled.♥
Weve been inseparable since then but we only officially became a couple more than a year after that date. We've been together for so long and di ko mauwaw muprofess sa akong love para niya in front of other people.
