About two months old si Peanut when we gave him his first oatmeal bath. I was worried na basin too young pa siya mag bath and might get sick. pero guol sad ko kay sige na siya pangawot gud, so we decided na ligoon nalang jud siya. It turned out he likes it man sad. Cooperative kaayo. Hehehe

Hehhe okay rana sya basta medyo hugaw na sya or naa mga puti puti or nag dry iyang skin..imo najud sya outmeal bath kay it help man gud sa ilang skin..na dili mo dry og ma fresh ilang paminaw....and just make sure na before nimo sya iuli sa iyang cage...kanang totally dry nasad sya....

For me kay its my bonding time nila after maligo..while nagpa uga ko nila og nag blower ..yes im using blower para dali ma uga pero distansya ra ako pag gamit para sad dili sila kaayo mainitan sa hangin...

Congrats...murag ganahan jud ko sa intong attitude kay your learning na jud ..liman ka kamo najud maka tubag sa ubang questions...and so far so good...keep it up guys....!

BTW, we have thread about HH information and you can see the link at the 1st page...if you have time you may check them para katong mga bag-o jud at least maka balo mo sa basic information and other important info....Hope to see you guys this Feb 19...para sad maka learn nasad ta about sa colors...!

Yes, that one also hehe... but for me dili na pod nko paabuton nga mubaho na kay maluoy ko, hehehe.

That's alright bro! ...yes they are nocturnal by nature, but pwede man xa mareverse, but depende gyud pod sa pag-anad. Need pod ka ug room nga dili kaau hayag, when you do it. Play by morning and afternoon at first, then gradually mareverse ra gyud na, if you got the time pod. Don't forget the treats when you do it.

Murag peanut is developing cheek patches. Di lang mi sure if cheek patches jud ug buling lang, pee staing maybe. I'll try to give him an oatmeal bath come weekend to see if mawa ba ning very light na patch.

I am proud na Peanut is yet the only WB diri sa Cebu. Pero if it turns out after the seminar nga algerian siya or something tungod sa iyang light na patch, I'd still be as proud. Hehehe

Hmmm... if very light lang gyud xa, I wouldn't consider him as an algerian... di gyud pareha sa pagstart pa lang or baby pa lang naa na gyud daun xa cheek patches... naa gyud na xa some certain degree para maconsider xa as Algerian, try to check this thread, comment from LG [lizardGirl]...

Maybe he's just quilling since baby pa mna kaau xa, ingon ana nga situation mag cge gyud na xa pangawot, so there's no need to worry.

haha dont worry. no question is too n00b basta bago rka nag start. its great nga you care enough to ask, nya ayg kabalaka, daghan willing mutabang nimo dinhi

as for the question, usually if natulog sila, dili jud sila ganahan pukawon. haha
pero if you really do want to play with the hedgehog sa morning, once padulong na siya mumata inig pukaw nimo, tagai daun ug treat like a mealworm.
theyll be happy ana nga napukaw sila, kay maka kaon hehe. play with them dayon for a while, pero if you notice nga gi-duka pajud siya, its best to put him back sa cage lng sa. hehehe

bitaw, like what we did with peanut, we had to make sure he wasnt too young to bathe. pero after that, mu differ man, some say once a month, others kay once a week.
pero the best nga akong nadunggan is that once they look like they need a bath, give them one.

youll know the signs man when you see them. if hugaw na ilang quills, or if nagka poop na ilang feet. or if baho2x na sila hehe

pero the best time to bathe them (using oatmeal) is when mag quilling sila. its when matangtang ilang baby quills and they grow adult ones. sapoton sila ana, sige ug scratch, nya you might notice nga daghan thin quills matangtang around where they sleep.

Yes, grabe gyud ilang research, that's what I call passion, hehe... I did that for 2 months also, before I got my 4 hoglets.
