    Steamed Rice (this is a 3 step process)

    Step 1
    ingredients:
    2 cloves garlic minced
    6 cups cooked rice
    2 tbsp. oil
    1 tsp. sesame oil
    salt & pepper to taste
    2 beaten eggs

    heat oil. add minced garlic and fry until brown. add cold rice. fry for a few minutes on low flame and add beaten eggs while tossing the rice all the time.

    Step 2
    Meat mixture

    ingredients:

    1/2 cup diced chicken meat
    1/2 cup diced pork loin
    1/2 cup shrimps, peeled
    1/4 cup diced onions
    1/4 cup soaked winter mushrooms
    2 tbsp frozen peas or minced green onions









    marinade

    1 tsp rock salt
    2 tsp chinese wine
    1 tbsp. cornstarch
    2 tsp sesame oil
    salt & pepper to taste

    dredge meat and shrimps in marinade for 1 hour.

    Sauce

    2 tsp. light soy sauce
    2 tsp. dark soy sauce
    2 tsp. sugar
    2 tsp. sesame oil
    2 tbsp. cornstarch
    salt & pepper to taste
    1 1/2 cup water

    step 3

    deep fry shrimps & meat mixture. drain & set aside. sautè onions. set aside. reheat frying pan with 2 tbsp. oil and add fried meat and mushrooms and sauce. bring to a boil. blend in cooked onions and peas. place fried rice in large tureen or individual bowls and top with meat mixture. steam for 5 minutes. serve hot.

    ako sad, mangayo. kung kinsa to nakasuway work sa harbour ug sa dim sum break basin pwede pm lang ang recipe. God bless sa muhatag. hehehe

    aw abi nakog nangita mog katapat sa steam rice sa dimsum or harbor city.. but nahan pud ko makahibaw ingredients and steps to make their steam rice..

    dli na ehatag ang nila ang recipe kay negosyo gud na nila, mbayad usa tah para htagan tah sa recipe..

    You need carrots, potato, pork chunks, corn starch, toyo, green peas, shrimps, and rice.

    Prepare the stock with carrots, potato, and pork chunks (you might have to do these the night before).
    Remove excess fat from the stock and strain to remove the vegetables.
    Place the stock and pork chunks into a sauce pan.
    Heat till boiling.
    Pour corn starch, toyo, green peas, and shrimp.
    Keep on stirring till it thickens.
    Let it simmer.

    Prepare rice.
    Put rice into a wok, add a little oil, and toyo.
    Stir-fry the rice and toyo.
    Set aside rice to cool.

    Then its just a matter of adding the soup/sauce into the rice.

    Overheard this from a friend. But I have yet to try this though. hehe
