just had your first hedgehog sir? mao bah? karon pako dili diay na xa makatusok..^^ well thats normal.. and just fyi he bites too, and it sometimes bleeds.. and his bite is more bloody than his quills esp when the more you struggle..^^ dunno how you did your research..

Sometimes, i held one in the petshop ug ni-bite cya nko pero wala man sad ko nag bleeding, sa spikes raman, ambut ato nga website (forgot the name of the website) nganu it said never caused bleeding. Grrrr for that website!!

@to all of those who replied the question: thank you sa info. still taming her now but she still act defensive when i get her out of her plastic bin cage hehehe, mayta ma tame nani cya kung 3 months kapin na cya, 2 months paman ni cya

hehehe dili tingali basa or something ang imo kamot pagpaak.. ako first time nidugo pagpaak kay after i took a bath nya theres something with the soap's smell na nibite xa.. mao to nagdugo.. medyo soft man gud ang skin after hugas or ligo.. mao pud na if imo sila ihold under those circumstances na mudugo jud.. but some hedgehogs kay hait jud kaau ug quills..

taming hedgehogs don't just happen overnyt mao na need jud ni xa ug patience nga pet.. i think if imo lang xa ihandle everyday for 2 or 3wks matame nana nimo xa.. especially karon nga bata pa imo hedgie.. so spend some time if possible everyday lang jud para matame jud nimo xa..

maski tamed hedgehogs bro muset jud sa ila defense mechanism especially if imo kuhaon sa bin nya natulog xa.. but if taud2an nimo gamay dili na xa manusok if tamed xa.. but karon na dili pa.. ana jud na xa, manusok pa..

dili man sad cya mo bite nko kung mag-bath ko niya (mas-ganahan cya sa oatmeal bath kay sa johnsons baby soap no tears formula and hait gyud iyang quills pero, dili nman ko masamad, anad na sa scent nko hehehe!
