CEBU'S Basura problem... HOW can We Solve this dilemma?

how should we and the government go about this? thinking nga naa nai city ordinances, laws and evrything that could penalize these law-breakers?

amen. rules are meaningless without strict and consistent implementation.

but going back to the issue at hand, what we need as a province to start with is a concerted awareness and realization that proper garbage disposal can aid in solving problems with drainage. problem is no one's interested or motivated, not like other countries who encourage their citizenry to help out. case in point, in the U.S., 1 aluminum can recycled is 10cents(around PHp4.50). ten cans equals USD1.00. naa mana silay 1-dollar meal ilang mcdo which is already quite good. daghang paagi sila maka panginabuhi. sa atoa dinhi, kinilo. although I do not know how much they pay people pud. kasagaran man pud kay pakyaw para dili lugi ang ga.bayad. If we can work out an agreement with the provincial garbage collectors and the public to segregate or maski recycle lang sa, ayaw lang labay tanan sa usa ka trash bag, am sure there'll be a big change with our problem sa garbage.

We have to do this on a Provincial, if not regional level pa gani para mas dali ang results nga makit.an sa tanan tao, nga ma-realize natong tanan nga "it makes sense man d.i noh" and "bitaw, mas maau bitaw kung ining-ani-un nato paglabay sa basura".
