    Default Need assistance on my new netbook!


    I just bought a new Lenovo S12 last December 2010.
    All was working well, it was installing the latest updates when I turned it off yesterday, but when I started my unit today it prompted me to enter a password.
    How could this be? I’m certain I didn’t set a password for the reason that I don't think it's necessary at this point since I'm the only one using my machine. Besides, I keep it inside my room.

    BTW,The application “VeriFace” pops up on every boot, along with the password request. But it hasn’t been set earlier, so it’s of no use either .
    Taking my unit to the nearest service will be my last resort.

    it's possibly a malware or a virus, try uninstall VeriFace

    veriface=facial recognition by lenovo man ni sya maam... try da on going safe-mode if it still asks for password, then uninstall this veriface

    Asa mo prompt ang password? windows log on? or sa bios password. If bios password e reset na nimo ang bios. Naa man gud uban motherboard bug nga mokalit lang ug butang ang password bisag wa gi set. Kung windows password try nimo boot and login as administrator para ma delete nimo ang password sa imo account or reformat.

    well if bag.o pana. ipa warranty na didto. sila ra ang bahala ana. also just ask also a couple of question on how to use it. (veriface) and nganong naa na to daan or unsaon to pag pa wala.

    Bro, before ko nagpost diri nivist nako sa site nila for Tech support but i'm still confused.
