lagi brad.. badtrip! murag wala man security sa fuente circle, daghan outsiders nka sud. maduol pa sa mga festival queen and mag pa picture.. and useless ang rules na dili daw pwede mag patunga ang mga photogs, pero ganiha, atay! naa gyud sa tunga! ambush ang mga festival queen..! i can say na, cge nlang, pero ang uban kay murag 20shots sa festival queen, ang uban sa likod goodluck nlang. be considerate nman sa uban na mga photogs. if naa ka'y clear shot, 1-2shots ok na....ang uban kay murag dili na maghawa sa cge pa kuha pics sa festiv queens.
Ha ha. Last year, I was kind of guilty of immersing myself within the contingents because I wanted to shoot as if I'm part of them but in retrospect that was inconsiderate to other photographers and to the crowd. I didn't join and probably won't ever again for the simple reason that I didn't enjoy standing under the sun or rain or both.
I also don't believe that the judges really know a Photoshopped photo if it bit them in the a$$. Kaklaro burn and dodge past photos oi. Kung ordinary lang na tao na dili kahibalo, of course mu-wow dyud pero kita na ni-agi pud ani Photoshop-photoshop, istoryahe. He he.
burn and dodge is acceptable according to the ruling:
4. Any digital manipulation tool (e.g. cut & paste, healing, etc.) that is not applicable / do able in the printing process from an analog media (film), shall mean immediate disqualification of the entry. Post production like exposure control (dodge and burn); Color saturation (control); creative cropping are all do able when you print from a negative. Even conversion to black and white color toning (sepia, blue, selenium, etc.) as long as its done across the frame and not only ins selected areas is acceptable.
but unfortunately, i dont know how to work on with those kind of stuffs..![]()
i wonder pwede ba kaha .DNG na file ang i.submit? cozi have Adobe Lightroom here, but i doubt that they would accept it.. nindut raba kai ma change ang saturation, color tone, etc. exposure control pud.
