tnx guys sa mga info.. rily appreciate it..
With regards to NMAT scores, it's not a very big deal if it's low.
Of course, having a high NMAT score would really increase your chances of being accepted in CIM, but it's not a very big factor.
I even know of someone who had an NMAT score of 5 but was able to graduate without any failing mark while someone who had an NMAT of 99 failed during first year.
They are more particular to your pre-med grades and where you graduated.
But there's no harm in trying, just do good during the interview and show them how determined you are. Good Luck!
thats right!... im very much determined. i think im the most determined and motivated person in the planet.. i really did make some few mistakes in the past but in comparison to what i am today, i think i am 5 times or 10 times better than i was before and i really hope they could see that. Please lord help me.huhuhu
hi "Sternal Angle"..hehe. im a med student from Cebu Institute of Medicine. Don't worry much on your NMAT score. you still have a big chance of enrolling at CIM. Do well, or shall I say, your best, once you'll have your 1-on-1 interview with any of the members of the Admission Committee. Pls take a visit sa CIM. Ask all of your inquiries sa secretary..
.studying in CIM means a lot of pressure since we're on PBL. we learn by our own. If you want to study medicine, and at the same time, enjoy much of it, then try also applying to your 2nd choice na school. Well, though CIM is tough to its students, but at the end of the day..no regrets. =)
God Bless You Angle of Louis.
tnx doc2be.. i already submitted my application form together with the other requirements and now i am waiting for the schedule in my interview.. the secretary told me that all interview will start this April and they will just call me 1 week before the expected interview..
for all the people who are asking their(CIM) required NMAT cutoff, it is 40%.. good thing i made it.. for all the aspiring applicants, just bring your application form, photocopied TOR, 2 letters of reference from two previous professors, and your photopied NMAT result.. and just put them in a folder.
