thanks for the link brow, honestly naa pod byay point ang tawo (nga ni badlong) but ang common lang jud ani nilang mga mamadlungay kay ang 'way' sa ilang pag badlong, arogante kaayug dating bah di kabalo magpa itoy2x, unhan kag gulat... But dili bah enough ato ID nga gihatag sa Sinulog foundation to allow us take pictures in places like church (sto. nino) ? related bya ni sa sinulog nga events.

as long as sakto ang pagkabadlung sa ila, sakto ra man sad ang mga taga didtu mamadlung. ang basilica property gihapun sa simbahan katoliko. so if they see that shooters flocking/swarming causes too much attention then its up to them to make that initiative. ayaw lag sugot sabligan mug holy water. makapaso.

in fairness to the Basillica authority.... they do have a point in not allowing photographers from taking pictures while mass is ongoing especially on the singing of the "Gozos"... medyo arogante gamay ang nibadlung because maybe gikapoy napud sila ug badlung, or he is in power so might as well enjoy it... the guy claimed that he is the ground security for 2-years now and told us to ask for a Basillica ID which is impossible to get from the rector's office at this point of time... for me I do understand... we told him that its ok because we were only just a handful of photogs but what about Saturday wherein atleast 500 will flock to the Basillica?? matabang ba kaha ug badlung

basically, you can still take pictures but discreetly nalang.... or tago-tago... but the only thing they can do is to tell you that taking pictures is not allowable while mass is ongoing and they have no right nga embargohon ang imong camera... kung mabadlungan then stop taking pictures and look for another spot...

the best thing to do is to try to follow their rules, and learn to break it gently.... hehehehhe
