if will be different because the 17-40L will not be a 17 after all, because you need to multiply 1.6 or 1.3 [correct me if I'm wrong]
FF is what you see is what you get.

Also the advantage on some FF DSLR is the way it handles the higher ISO, they're good at it on dealing with the noise, take Nikon D3s @ 3200 the noise still not visible as compared to other non-FF SLR.

    once again, IMHO

Hope daghan ko wawart para maka-afford anang mga Full Frame hehehehe

I'm quite aware of that and I thank you for your information. Unfortunately, you don't get my statement. If you are to look at two photos without knowing which camera system, would you be able to know it was taken with a FF camera or a crop camera? The answer is NO.

Educate on what? Look at your post, you just mentioned reading the manual is simply the answer. Seriously, why do you guys have to post threads like these? I could sometimes understand those newbies trying to share and learn from other peeps using the same amateur cameras.. there I could tell its pure learning.. but with THIS? Really? Nikon D3?? FF thread? You are for sure more than a newbie so whats the point? Oh I get it... geez it was easy.. just to brag around here with your fancy gadgets.. LOL..

    Sorry for the LOL..

You see I am not here for myself.. I am here trying to bring back the old istorya.net.. the ones that had a common ground.. learning from each other.. I see these threads as.. well.. "just showoff stuff".. Please don't be offended I am a reasonable guy and will never start trouble around here. I just miss the old istoryans... somehow I feel this photography section has become a show-off not really for sharing and learning...

yah u have the point there...coz comparing the old threads from now, mas flexible and daghan na range of system imo ma pili-an, unlike before na u share common ground and lesser crowd.... categorizing the system from film ,crop canon/nikon, full-frame canon/nikon, kind of lenses/focal lengths are much easier than making other thread na medyo pahambugay ra....

coz havin a thread like these, mas maka relate ka sa topic if u have the same system....and mas paspas ang learning as long dili pud maghinangol sa exif,set-up,etc....

maka cause ug spark if a canon guy bashing on nikon users...kana maoy klarong liki...

same as the thread "film is not dead"...i cant relate the fondness of using that old system, but i like the shots and learned some exif from there.... i just refused posting as not to make someone be offended on my opinion, rather i just lurked a lot... and thats my point

and sakto si makiechoy... hope dili lang mao himoon sukdana sa skills...

From what i understand, this is a common misunderstaning.. using a crop body doesnt give you extra reach but only covers a part of a full frame sensor, its the crop factor that your not seeing the full view. A 17mm is still a 17mm whether its cropped or FF., you cant say that your 17mm will be 27.2mm on 1.6 crop body, focal length doesnt change only the Field of View, you need a TC if you want to extend the reach.
