Miss Cebu 2011 Pre-pageant Night on January 7

See the bevy of beauties of Miss Cebu 2011 during the official presentation of candidates at the Pre-Pageant Night at the Fuente Osmeña Circle this Friday, January 7, 2011 at 7 p.m. Miss Cebu is the official search for the representative and spokesperson of Cebu City and is one of the highlights of the annual Sinulog festival. This will be launched simultaneously with the Sinulog Opening Program at the Cebu City Sports Center, making it a back-to-back celebration for both the Sinulog and Miss Cebu.

Get to know the lovely ladies as they journey towards becoming the 27th Miss Cebu. The candidates will don creative outfits made by Cebu’s Top Young designers Rey Humberto Villegas, Peewee Senining, Ivan Belocura and Hadji Godinez with the participation of Dexter Alazas. Special awards will be given out on this night to candidates who shine the brightest. Show is open to the public.

The 12 candidates vying for this year’s crown are Katrina Raye "Trina" Yuson, Kerrie Glad Arapoc, Rosemary Gore, Katrina Jane "Ina" Esmas, Benjielyn Rose "Benj" Ongluico, Teffanie Lene "Panyang" Llamada, Maureen "Mau" Gail Espina, Mia Zeeba Faridon, Junelyn "June" Bilocura, Erica Janine Tudtud, Vanessa Claudine Ammann and Aiko Lyanne Serrano.

Online voting is still ongoing at the Ayala and SM voting booths until January 9 as well as via The Official Website of Miss Cebu 2011 - powered by Cebu Interactive Design (iDesign). The 27th Miss Cebu 2011 Coronation Night will be held on January 12, 2011, Wednesday, 7:00 p.m. at the Pacific Grand Ballroom of the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino and will be telecast live on Studio 23. Tickets to the Coronation Night are now available at the online voting booths, Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino and the Cebu City Tourism Office at the 2nd floor of the Rizal Museum and Public Library in Osmeña Boulevard and are priced at P300, P500, P1,000, P1,500.

MISS CEBU ONLINE VOTING now open until January 9

As the prestigious Miss Cebu 2011 pageant draws nearer, the Cebu City Tourism Commission is giving everyone an opportunity to support their favorite candidate via online voting until 11:59 p.m. on January 9, 2011.

The Miss Cebu 2011 online voting booths were launched last December 15 at Ayala Center Cebu, Ground Level, Active Zone Entrance attended by CCTC Commissioner Joseph Gaisano and Executive Director Cinbeth Orellano, and last December 16 at the 2nd floor of SM Northwing near Cyberzone attended by Cebu City Mayor Michael L. Rama and CCTC Commissioner Marissa Fernan.

Anyone with a valid email address is eligible to vote. One (1) registered email address is equivalent to one (1) vote. Those around the country and world may also take part in this process by going to the Miss Cebu 2011 page on the Cebu City Tourism Commission website at The Official Website of Miss Cebu 2011 - powered by Cebu Interactive Design (iDesign). Scroll left to right to find your favorite candidate. Click on any of the candidates’ photos to view their information. Click Vote. Enter your complete name, valid email address and address, then complete your vote by clicking on “Vote Now”. Online Votes will comprise 50% of the criteria for Miss Photogenic.
