to lessen the interest have ur HSBC balance transferred to another bank that offers lower rates.if dli nimo mabayran tanan due ,kna imo monthly na gibayad kulang pa na sa interest then the total amount due will be payable as a whole gd. if i balance transfer gni, gamay ra ang interest then makaya na byaran ang monthly na mo due.

for example imo total due sa HSBC is 20,000..i think 3.5% per month ang charge,so u will pay them 700 interest. whereas if u transfer it to banks na nag offer og bal. transfer, naa .69% per month.. imo mbayaran na interest is only 138/month.

    to compute and compare:

    HSBC due on January 2011
    principal 20,000
    interest 700
total 20,700 you need to pay all of this amount to avoid interest in the next billing
let say you can only pay 5,000....20,700-5,000=15,700 + 549.50 interest=16,249.50( will be due on feb>2011)

if u transfer to banks that offer .69%/month

    .69 x 12 months=8.28%/annual

    s0,20,000 x 8.28%=1,656(interest) + principal(20,000)=21,656/12

your monthly due will only be 1,804.67...affordable na kau na byaran
