i think a law that would ban actors/actresses in politics is an innovative move that would filter or strain unqualified candidates.. they would be allowed only to the extent of mayorial post and should not be allowed to run higher post like being REPRESENTATHIEVES, SENATORS, VP AND PRESIDENTIAL. what do you think?

@master lampa_that's discrimination! hehe, i think we don't need new laws for that...if you strongly insist that this might be another way of preventing wannabes to join our dear gov't., you just have to propose for the revision of the 1987 Constitution specifically on the qualifications of a Senator / Member of the House of Representatives.

With the current qualifications of the constitution, you might want to add this statement: must never been an actor/actress in the course of his/her lifetime.

QUALIFICATION wise , all you need is become a citizen of the Republic of the Philippines and AFAIK live consecutively for the last 10 years in the country . Experience wise .... thats how you will figure out if you will win or not , naka experience na ba ka ug panguarkot or wala pa .
