MacBook or iPAD?

I'm planning to buy either a macbook or an iPad. Both are good and have its advantages and disadvantages. What do you think is the best gadget to buy?

If you're just going to splurge big bucks on a gadget, go for a MacBook all the way.
A friend used to tell me that an iPad is a giant version of an iTouch and it has its
limitations as to its functionality. Later on as I weigh all the pros and cons of the two,
MacBook is more handy.

As of last year, the MacBook prices vary from its type:

MacBook Air 85K
MacBook white pro 13 inch 52.5K
MacBook Aluminum 64K - 79K

thanks for the tip guys... macbook was my first priority... until i noticed how much popular the ipad is right now... the ipad's portability is really an advantage.. but other than that, the macbook just has a lot to offer...

kabantay pud ko daghan man nice tablets ang i release this year na mo compete sa ipad... so i think better macbook lang sa since proven naman ang macbook... i'll try buying a tablet nalang kung daghan nag features ang i offer...

It really comes down to what your needs are. The Macbook for the most part is for work, while the iPad is great for play.

And you might also want to consider the new Macbook Air which fits nicely between the two. It's thin, light, and small, but still powerful and comfy enough to cater your daily computing needs.
