dapat unta kanan mao pay pagsugod ug kaon ug independent na para safe ang health sa chick. If ang ganahan siya nga mo-handfeed sa chick, mga one week old siguro para lig-on lig-on na sila. Note that hand feeding is done three times a day.

sir i think pwd nana sila ma hand fed when they reach the age of 2-3 weeks. or depende cguru sa bird, as long as natubuan na sila ug pin feathers

mga sir, happy new year!...share lang ko sa ako experience re: hand-feeding. Kung ang purpose is to let the bird see you as her mom/dad and will really bond to you as a child and be too friendly even to anybody, then hand-feeding a very young bird is a must...sa akong experience, my budgie nga si Lipay (lutino) was hand-fed by me as early as a week old...a friend of mine hand-fed his budgie even younger than Lipay...dili sa age or formation of feathers ang key to hand-feeding. Basta ma fed lang sa iyang mother a few days, pwede na. Ang importante is what, how and time to be spent in hand-feeding the bird. As to what and how: you must feed gerber or cerelac nga fruit flavor, e halo sa warm water ug e feed sa chick via sirens nga walay dagum, nya force feeding gyud haron masiguro nga moburot ang bawnanan or breast sa chick. As to the time, kinahanglan nga dili magutman ang chick, meaning, kinahanglan magsige ug burot ang bawnanan. Basi sa experience, every 2 hours is feeding time...magkata-as ang lugway sa oras after a week. Ang crucial nga time kay inig gabi-i ug kadlawon kay kinahanglan matulog ta. So akong gibuhat kay feeding sa 1am, then mata inig 6am para feeding nasad. This is true with other birds kay naka hand-fed napud ko ug laing bird.
