I have this photo I took last week using a point-and-shoot digicam (5 megapixel at 35-220mm zoom or 6X). But I have noticed that the picture (especially the edges) are not very sharp. Overall the picture itself too is not fine, it's kinda grainy with some spots.
Does my photoeditor also have something to do with downgrading the quality of a picture? (I'm currently using photoshop) Also, what do you recommend when resizing a photo (like the compression, etc..etc..).

(very fine, sharp, and focused)
@Arnoldsa..your obeservation on P&S foto quality is just typical..you can't expect a detailed and sharp output from a P&S since the sensor used on this cam tends to be smaller than their DSLR counterpart.
bigger sensor=bigger pixel coverage=better image =)
