ana man gud ang former owner nga healthy daw ni... din before ko ni palit niana jud ko niya nga pilion ang active hedge.....

If you have budget try ipa check nalng sa vet...go sa animal wellness kay murag nag praktis sila og small animals..or if mahalan sad ka..try sad hatag tambal like sa ipang hatag sa cavies...pero not sure jud unsa na tambal ihatag..you can ask mga cavy people unsay ilang ihatag sa ilang cavy if ing-ani na case...maybe basin mo same effect langbut not that sure..or you can search it to the net or ask the people at hedgehog central about it...

Cguro for me, I wouldn't recommend any medication same as for Cavy, coz they are completely different species, ie. cavy is vegetarian and hedgehogs are carnivores.


@zeol, dili ba bugnaw ang lugar nga imong gibutangan niya bro?

Try usa ang food nga giingon ni turntable... then if dili pa gyud mu-eat try some alternative food, like hard-boiled egg, boiled chicken, superworms or some pinkies (if naa ka mapalitan). Try to watch her drink the water bro, coz if dili gyud muinom kuyaw na gyud na.

Try to research lang usa bro before concluding nga need na gyud niya ang vet. Goodluck!

Mao pod na akong giworry coz basin mas wala pa sila alamag kaysa nato... ang concentration baya nila kay dogs ug cats lang, coz mao may daghan... as for the hedgehogs, dili xa endemic dinhi and since bag o pa lang pod na diri cebu, mejo limited lang gyud cguro pa ang ilang knowledge ani nga pet. Basin ang mahitabo kay samtang ikaw naghulat sa vet na makaistorya regarding sa imong problem, ang vet gacge pa diay research sa internet, lol.

tnx sir but wala jud ko mga salig sa mga vet gud basta small mamals kai ang ako migo iyang doggie mura ra xia ug nagbayad sa vet para tiwasan iyang alaga...^_^ iniwis ako xia gipainum ug dextrose powder din oki na hehehe ne eat na xia ug nagpoop... iyang poop kai midjo greenish nga mura naalaway... but nag poop xia ug firmstools once ra pud... tnx God she's oki ryt now na...

Yes i've read about geckos gender will be dependent on temps same as pawikan. Hedgehogs are more inclined to warmer, coz if SUBRA kabugnaw they will hibernate unya which is bad kay taas ang chance nga mamatay sila.

At that age, much better if spot-cleaning lang ang imong buhaton or I would go 1/4 to 1/2 lang sa bedding ang ilisan but first know your hedgemom... if she is super tamed and relax sa imong presence, then I would go half sa bedding then after 2-3 days the other half napod.

I agree with Ronn kay if imo ilisdan tanan basin ma bag-uhan sya sa baho unya ma stress kay basin maka ingun sya na change iyang environment og dili na sya ma comfortable.....maliban nalng jud if very tamed imong mother.
