i assume the author did not mean this to be medical. perceptively if it was possible to lose one, then i'd rather lose my heart. i cannot love someone without having the slightest idea why, or go to the ends of the earth searching for something or someone without a reason. memories of love i will not forget if i am in full possession of my mind. when they say the heart has a mind of its own, i say the mind is capable of having a heart of its own.
