if you have serious plans to be a hobbyist or even a professional photographer, and if you have extra money to buy for lenses and accessories, then go for the Lumix GF1.

but if you're just a simple point-and-shooter hobbyist looking for better image quality(DSLR-like) straight out of the box and advanced manual still/video controls, then go for the Lumix LX5. it also goes well as a back-up camera if you already have a DSLR, for times when bringing a DSLR is not practical.

gamay ra ang difference sa GF1 ug LX5, around 6k, so choose wisely. please take note though that the GF1 has no image stabilization, so action shoots may sometimes turn out to be blurry.

only a bit... like the global editing stuff... saturation, brightness, WB etc... all done in LIGHTROOM3
