Pj-Glenn Tandem One Cebu bares 2013 candidates


CEBU, Philippines - The One Cebu Party of Governor Gwendolyn Garcia has already announced this early, its gubernatorial and vice-gubernatorial candidates for the 2013 elections.
Cebu province’s local administration party will be fielding 3rd District Rep. Pablo John “PJ” Garcia and businessman Glenn Soco for governor and vice governor, respectively.
Pablo John, who is groomed to be Cebu’s next governor, announced Tuesday evening his tandem with Soco during the Christmas party of the Capitol beat reporters.
In fact, he introduced Soco as “akong bise-gobernador sa 2013” during his speech.
Pablo John served as Capitol consultant during the first term of his sister, Governor Gwendolyn Garcia before he was elected congressman in 2007.
Pablo John is now on his second term as congressman after having reelected during the May 10 elections.
Soco on the other hand was Gwen’s running mate during the 2010 elections. He lost to reelectionist Vice Governor Gregorio Sanchez, Jr. by around 20,000 votes.
Soco has been very visible with Gwen in all Capitol activities. He co-chairs the Governor Unity Volleyball (GUV) Cup, the biggest volleyball tournament in the country.


He was also rumored to have been romantically linked with the governor during the election campaign.
Soco is a member of the Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and an active partner of the Obra Negosyo Eskwela Countryside Enterprise Business Upliftment (One Cebu) Program of the province. — (THE FREEMAN)

i doubt. garcia's lone strong hold is the fifth district only, mao nay nagpadaug ni Gwen. mag-ampo sila nga dili sila biyaan sa mga Durano.
first district dili na na Garcia. if it's gonna be Junjun Davide versus PJ, Davide will eat PJ alive. hehe
