All findings of the SC are just opinions anyway, opinions of the majority. It's true that this doesn't have force of law, but at least it's on the record and maybe in the future the SC can consider a reversal of the new principles laid down in this latest ruling.

I don't think it's fair either way you look at it. If Webb is really not guilty, then it's not fair he served 15 years when he is innocent. If he is really guilty, it's not fair to the other murder convicts that he served only 15 years. Either way you look at it, this is a black mark on our already notorious justice system.

Yep I agree with you. But I am inclined to believe that Webb and Company are guilty as found by the lower courts - (Trial court and Court of Appeals).

What I mean "fairness" is that, there are too many criminals nga wala ma persecute and there are also a lot of innocents nga na priso. As I believed in the lower court's decision, then even if they are acquited by the SC, even for me they are guilty then at least they have served some prison time.

Dili na, just like plagiarism is not really plagiarism hahaha.. That's why some people say, if the Supreme Court says black is white, then black is white.

Muhahaha basaha ang decision, kung kasabot ka. It's based on feelings and opinions. For example, they felt that Alfaro's testimony is incredible. Or for example, their opinion that certain circumstances were unlikely. All of these are findings based on the feeling of the court regarding various matters.

The only finding of fact pertains to the judgment of the lower court which they are in any case forbidden from doing. Kasabot ka sa principle "Supreme Court is not a trier of facts, but of law."

So how can you be proud of your broken record, uneducated statement "atleast ang decision sa SC kai based on facts dili lang presonal feelings"? They aren't even supposed to be a trier of facts, only of law.
