Corona was actually one of the four SC Justices who voted against the acquittal.

Notwithstanding this decision I still believe Webb and company are not innocent. They are getting off mainly because of the procedural aspect of our Justice System, because their guilt was not proven beyond reasonable doubt. Banga kaayo ang prosecution sauna, they didn't hammer all the nails into the coffin when they were on the case at its genesis. The Webbs capitalized on this and now they've successfully exploited those holes. Congratulations folks! Ladies, just don't forget to lock your doors!

In a press conference, SC spokesman Jose Midas Marquez said the decision is couched on “the failure of the prosecution to prove their guilt beyond reasonable doubt.”

“The majority is questioning the quality of the testimonies [of witnesses]…and their inherent inconsistencies,” he said.

    Nuff said.

I don’t know for a fact if Webb is guilty or not. To establish guilt is the job of the courts. What I’m certain of, however, is that right from the very start Jessica Alfaro was not a credible witness, and that she was the weakest link in the NBI case.
