It seems that these children were taught to count up to three and say zip with matching gesture as if zipping their lips together. Everybody said "1, 2, 3, zip!" However, this little girl stood up and seemed defiant.

These children kept asking me to take their photos to see their faces on the LCD preview screen. I couldn't say no.

@Sand: I've been told by the preacher that this is the life these people chose to live. I've not done extensive research about them but they live a life similar to that of gypsies in Europe.

7. art class





The children were getting restless and harder to control by the minute so they were seperated into three groups and given activities. I was looking for a child to shoot and this little fella caught my eye. He couldn't use the crayon properly yet but he's trying his best.

this is a really nice thread, I remember sa time nga nag work ko sa NGO as database programmer and mg conduct mi ug mga trainings sa mga remote areas like tara (northern tip of palawan small island) and batasan island (in bohol) and other areas kay mga looy baya ang mga studyante... sayang lang kay di pako photography engaged that time. pero naa koy mga gamay nga shots that time sa P&S nako..

and also sa Papua new guinea during my visit looy sad mga taw dd2, photography hobbiest nako that time pero di man ta mka shot ug dali dali sa mga taw kay lisod ug utok hehehehe so memories nlang ako gi dala dala.
