anyone else around here taking the dogs to DOG and CAT Clinic-CVD in Lapu-lapu City?

about a month ago, i took my "pregnant" dog to take her regular shots. ako pa nag ingon nga pregnant ang dog, then ingon ang vet: "aw pregnant diay na siya? dili man klaro" but anyway, wala gihapon siya gitagaan ug deworming kay pregnant man according to my personal observation. vet didn't bother checking the dog's body parts and all. vet didn't even talk about possible pregnancy, false pregnancy, advises for a preggy dog and all.

less than two weeks later, my dog gave birth to 5 healthy puppies. although it's way too late for realization, karon pa gyud ko ka gets ngano ni ingon ang vet before nga "dili man klaro nga pregnant" and wala niya gi check man lang ang body parts. kwarta diay tuyo. maningil to ug consultation fee and magpa laboratory test. hehe

i wouldn't mind paying, absolutely no problem. pero ngano mag dialogue paman ug "dili man klaro"? pwede raman mu ingon ug "atong klarohon, pero naay bayad sir". hehe ka pait sad aning ubang vet oi, calculated man ang istorya.

two years na baya ko diha suki, lahi-lahi ilang vets. salig lang sila its just a few meters away from home.

Sorry for OT, but to make this relevant to thread topic:

CVD Lapu-lapu (Dog and Cat Clinic) is located along Patalinghug Ave., straight lang ka when driving from 1st Mactan bridge.

to be fair with CVD, maayo bayo cla ug strategy for healing medical conditions, as per experience. like when my dog has ear infection, they tried to treat first ang hubag sa ears before treating the fungal infection. dili man jud maapplyan ug tambal ang fungal infection directly kay hubag nya sakitan pa ang iro kung applyan ug tambal. Before i brought my dog to CVD, other vet clinics would advise me to clean and then treat the infection directly, which was not helpful at all.

Ang reason pud why CVD chain clinics and other big clinics actually have many staff doctors is to gather specialist in one place. Mahal bya ang medical equipments and most of the doctors having their own clinic cannot afford to buy medical equipments for themselves. So if ang tumong lang nimo sa pag adto sa doctor is vaccinations ug minor health concerns, adto nalang ka sa nearest small vet clinic, and for major health concerns/threat, better adto sa dagko na clinics coz doctors their will have a chance to ask others professional opinion. Its better to have 2 heads or more thinking on how to treat your pet.

Default one of the most helpful Vet clinic i've ever went to.

I would like to give credit to all staff of FC Mabolo ( Fil-Chinese Animal Clinic) here in Cebu, near \SM and Mabolo Church, My Wife and i had a 4 year old maltese which we usually brings to all place we've been going, one day she just lost her appetite and become thin and teary eyes. We brought her to FC Mabolo Animal Clinic and they conduct blood examination, physical test and ultrasound and x'ray and they showed me the result of all the test and the x'ray and they found out that my maltese have an osteosarcoma. i would like to appreciate what they have dome to my pet, They are very professional in dealing with my pets condition and to us. We are now in the New Zealand were we work as a expat, we showed all the test and xrays to the vet in New Zealand and they confirm that it is osteosarcoma and same discussion were made. Thank you vet of FC Mabolo Animal Clinic.
