Ay na tagda patagad ra na. Wa nay nahibawan.

Yep but gamay raman amo grocery allowance although na receive ra nako. Duna pa daw extra 10k from Pnoy aside sa 13th month. Where ka na gov't agency sis?

Kami kutob ra sa 13th month pero uban duna daw kutob 18th.

@ TS, gocc/bank man gud ko ga work. wala na mi anang additional 10k from pnoy kay exempted mi sa salary standardization law. although, fingers crossed, naa gihapon ko variable (aka profit-sharing) this december. people don't understand that although we are a gocc, we have to compete fiercely with other commercial & govt. banks. grabe ka stressful ang marketing. mag log in nako diri kung labad na ako ulo kay dili ka balanse sa financials o naghuna huna pa sa write up sa loan recommendation hehehe. but compared to my previous work sa private bank, working in this govt. bank is more satisfying. you see financed roads, school buildings, hospitals, power plants, tourism facilities being put up and you know you are part of the nation building.

    ikaw, bro, asa ka nagwork?

    Land Bank? DBP?

Ah ok so chartered gocc diay ka ma'am? At least dagko mo ug suweldo dinha and duna pay profit sharing hehe. But definitely ang sense of fulfillment serving the country is priceless. Some people think na working in government is as easy as 15/30 then suweldo na diay. You are living proof na this is not all true.

    Sa Dept of Finance ko.

Ok sir. Not to defend government agencies and their employees pero undermanned and kuwang sa facilities ang kasagaran na gov't offices. Usa pud people complain about red tape and though they may be valid complaints, extra careful lang ang uban government employees. A simple mistake could lead to a reassignment, an administrative and or a criminal and civil case. Pero duna jud badlongon na civil servants and you have the recourse of complaining sa Civil Service and Ombudsman.

@TS, one of the above ang amo bank. ambot sad sa variable kung madayon, wala pa gisignan sa board. DOF diay ka, so magcollaborate ra ta.

few people in cities realized that outside highly urbanized areas, the government is the biggest employer in the country. ang kapait lang sa government service kay pwede ka itransfer bisag asa. in all of my 4 years in government work, i'm assigned outside cebu. hopefully, next year maassigned nako cebu city.

    cheers to all public servants
