as what I am thought sa religion classes namo, its usually to check kung asa k taman.. just like the story of Job (or kinsa b to, nalimot ko sa name, hehehe) n grabe iyang pagk.religious nya paghatag sa iya ug life challenges from God kay ni.question dayon xa ngano, d piti xa ni Lord, kay ngano mo.question xa n religious mn kaha xa.. in the end nakita nya y ghatag to ni Lord sa iya n challenges, ug gihatagan xa ug more than what he had before...

in short, it's to test their faith, and give them what they deserve...
