he need not be "dirty" himself, what he needs is a bit of political cunning, something that he apparently lacks. Ka-alyado baya na ang majority sa congress. Why can't he just use his influence over the legislature to pursue his vendetta against GMA? nakig-open confrontation naman hinuon sa SC. tsk tsk. walay subtlety. murag spoiled brat na sigeg whine kay wala niya makuha iya gusto.

^ You really believe the LP campaign that they are against corruption? They are only against it if they are not in the position to benefit from it. Now that they are in the majority, they're primary interest is not how to get rid of it, but how to make the most of it.

the only reason why the truth commission was scrapped is because it is "too specific", said the Supreme Court. It looked revengeful because it was only after GMAs administration.
What could be more specific than creating a commission with the sole purpose of going after Marcoses ill gotten wealth? Or have you guys forgotten?
PNoy has its lapses, but it can't be also argued that Supreme Court has been very rediculous these days. Reversing after reversing decisions which was decided earlier as final and executory (cityhood issue). Acquitting one of their own because of lacking MS Word footer application, hahaha. I am still waiting for the verdict of the Vizconde Trial, crossing my fingers.
PNoy is not 100% clean when it comes to corruption. No one is. When we use a bondpaper, ballpen in the office or an office computer to comment on this page, that alone is corruption. We are making use of resources that is not intended for our personal use, using time which are not intended for personal use, time that we are paid to work a certain job. So if you are acquitting Gloria because PNoy is doing the same deed, it made you no right to accused PNoy also of being corrupt because you are doing such deed also. So what will happen to our society if that will be the logic we will be using? Why bother creating laws?
