I don't get this! If there's a separation of powers of executive and judicial, why the heck would a president can appoint justices!

Because it is mandated by the CONSTITUTION that the President can appoint justices of the SC. There is no such thing as total separation. They will OVERLAP sometimes... (read CHECKS AND BALANCES)

Like naay bay m.usab kung m.priso c GMA? GMA already succeeded in taking people's money, it's already in her pocket, she already spent it. Stop corruption? That's all? How about strengthening the economy? It takes more than stopping corruption to make a better Philippines. that's why GMA appointed Corona as head in judiciary for the purpose of the future happening she knows all opposition during her time will go after her and she knows she already did more extra curricular activities during her presidency....many issues.
