    Hmmm....Others says otherwise bro..

kay I believe majority of the masses, specially katong nag hire lang ug broker are somewhat in between what you call day trader and swing trader, that's what Warren says, "dancing In our Out of the market ".
Because their brokers are the ones usually calling the shots, and brokers usually receives commission when he/she sells or buys a stock for the investors...Aside lang atong nag man gyud sa ilang stocks.

Aw when you call datu, maybe that's subjective, kay when it comes to the gap sa ilang net worth between, day trader and real investors like Warren Buffett, layo ra gyud kaayo ang mga day trader ug swing trader.

Ang ako nailhan nga swing trader nga nadatu ug maayo, si George Soros and he's net worth is not even 1/5th sa net worth ni Warren...maybe naa pa uban day trader or swing trader nga na datu gyud ug maayo, but they don't belong in the top 10 or am not sure if na belong ba gani sa top 100...

peace....above are only my opinions, sorry if I maybe a little inclined to investing rather than day trading or swing trading....^_^

    ok ra uy hehe
Im not talking about people relying on brokers, they should trade for themselves aron wa nay middleman, transaction fees nalang. I believe this can be done online.

And successful day traders don't rely purely on trading, naa sad sila solid investing.
Mas paspas sila mo accumulate ug money to reinvest, if they are good at it.
As long as they manage their bankroll well, di man mayabo ang day trader.

and pag kapuyan na sila, then puro long term na ila investing.

So, if you're not in the mood to study and gamble, skip day trading and proceed to swinging or buy and hold, or the safest but lowest returns would be mutual funds.
I'd rather look at it this way. The minority of the people who did well in stock trading are most likely those people who persevered and invested time and effort to learn the trend. The majority of the losing population either entered trading with little or no knowledge at all or their risk tolerance is not that high, a few losses makes them pull back.

Trading could bring very promising results and what a lot of people fail to realize is the fact that it entails knowledge and skill. Many people are driven by either fear or greed or both. Because of their lack or poor knowledge, they let their emotions decide for them.

If people would just put more time and effort to learn how the market works, I think that the winning fraction will increase.

I respect your opinions, because we have different ideas about investing and trading. Some people like trading and others like investing. It depends on them what they like....

Just a comment lang about Warren Buffet's wealth.
As an investor, he is active in participating to the companies he's investing into.
He does not sit and wait for his stocks to climb. But meets with executives, presidents of the companies. Give suggestions, votes during shareholder meeting.
So simply, dako sad siya gi-buhat sa company. That's what gives him a solid trust in the company, even mo-crash ang market.
Besides, daghan sad cya investments other than just holding paper assets.
