I am a regular at Rai Rai Ken. The japanese food they offer is predictable and a safe option for those wanting Japanese food. Over the years, they have increased the price, but still i would say within value for money.
Yesterday, i ordered the usual Beef Gydon, and asked the waiting to have the egg fried, instead of just raw. I have ordered this the same way at least 10 times in the last 4 months.
The waiter informed me that i will be charged 40 pesos because it uses gas to cook the egg. I thought this was going to far, so i walked out of the resto.
I think a simple request like this should not burden the customer, let alone someone who frequents the place.
So those looking into Japanese, avoid RRK because they will not be flexible and accommodating.
