Things will get resolved when you are persistent on calling them. As in call! This is what I did I called them up for thousands of times na guro para sa akong issue may gani naresolve...

I used union bank classic account sauna, for more than 2 years na. karon lng ko ni shift ug eon kay dako kaau maintaining ang classic nila gud, (10,000 pesos) mao nag eon nlng ko ron.

sa pag open nko ug eon account, 7 business days ra unta, na abot ug 9-10 business days because nasayop ilang clerk sa akong last name. then, you have to wait another 3 business days to activate the card, then another 3 business days unta daw, to activate eon after enrolling online. NOW, 2 weeks kapin na, dli japon ko ka sud sa akong eon.

this is my major reason why I stopped Paypal-EON transactions.

If Paypal really wants to penetrate Philippines, then they should tie-up with other banks, that is more reliable.

@lorenzoleo: to activate your PAYPAL I suggest EON but to transfer your money to your bank I sugges to use BDO and BPI never heard horror stories from these banks.

Pero to avoid getting into the same situation as I am better to sell your funds (gamay og rate) pero sure jud ka naay kwarta di kay kulba-kulba-an ka na musulod ba ang kwarta sa moha bank or not.

It is much better for PayPal to tie up a strong and well-established bank like BPI and BDO, I dont know why gipili nila ang UNIONBANK of all the banks. If di tungod sa PayPal ambot kung naa ba sla dghan clients for sure almost to zero ba...

Bisan unsaon pa og petition or gukod union bank to make their system works and etc... sige lang ta pa-agi-on sa manila kay centralized mana sila...everything has to be at the MAIN OFFICE which is in Manila nya ang LONG DISTANCE calls purya buyag lang pud... la pay labot manawag pa sa US purya buyag lang pud tawn...

    --------

Unsaon taman kani online shopping, online business, even clients would want PAYPAL! mura generic na tawn na PAYPAL. if wala ka paypal mglisud jud og homebased jobs or business kay di ganahan ang mga clients og HASSLE ma expose ilaha information og credit card info pud... Tagsa ra nay client ipadala ang kwarta thru xooom.com or www.moneygram.com

They want faster way to pay and too bad PayPal ra tawn ang nailhan or MAS PREFERRED sa mga clients and most online shopping businesses.

I think the root of the issue for all banks here in the philippines is wala jud kasweto ang mga Support people about paypal. I went to all the banks and they dont know or have not heard about paypal. But base on experience mas problem ang BPI actually. Maglisod jud cla subay if naa ka problem sa Paypal. so is with BDO. Thats the reason i transfer to EON. When I contacted Paypal They told me Issues should be a lot easier to solve if i open with a partner - that is EON. I lost around 800$ sa BPI until now wala pa nasubay. I got tired of it and just let it be.

    PS
I withdraw weekly via 2 accounts both around 2k$ each per week for almost 3 years, wala pa man jud mo palyar ever. always on time jud.

they automatically activate a red flag for withdrawals over 2k $, sometimes even transactions over 2k $. thats how the paypal system works. especially if its transaction include countries that they flagged.
