You reactionary twit. Did you even read the article? More than 90% of HIV cases are caused by indiscriminate needle sharing through drug use. Learn to read before shoving in your self-righteous agenda.

MANILA, Philippines – Department of Health studies show that 92% of all Filipinos infected with HIV in 2010 are males.

Around 80% of these people are found to be MSMs, or males having *** with males.
"RP," a person living with HIV (PL-HIV) from Mindanao, cited technology as a possible trigger for the sudden upsurge.

"High-tech na tayo ngayon eh. Meron nang cellphone, meron nang chat. Diyan nabubuo yung mga clan, mga grupong nagkikita, at dun na nakakahanap ng bagong partner." In his hometown, "RP" also observed a shift in the profile of PL-HIVs.

From a predominance by *** workers, they are now seeing a lot of students testing positive for HIV.

He noted that medical schools, especially nursing schools, are having an increase in PLHIVs, partly because of a large presence of MSMs preferring to take nursing.

"RP" appealed to the public not to collectively judge the MSM community as promiscuous.
Although some actually are, he admitted.

"Minsan naman may pang-isahan lang. Pero iba dyan ang gusto 6 months lang. Iba 5 days. Yung iba naman kapag nabigo, maiisip na 'kukuha ako ng limang partner para makalimot.'"

"RP" also disproved the notion that HIV infections only happen in Manila. "Sa buong bansa, may HIV na. Bata, matanda, babae, lalaki."....

There are more homosexuals infected with AIDS than female *** workers. No discrimination here, but it tells you a lot on how rampant having a casual *** in their groups. 92 freaking percent are MALES!!! that is a surprised for me!!

Hmmmm .. I didn't know 80% Filipino males in the Phils are into having sexual relations with fellow males .. Ewwwwwww !!

it is mandatory for the hospitals to do a testing for the blood sample of the donor prior to collecting blood AND after the collection sa blood bag just before transfusion sa pasyente.

while those donors who donate blood in blood banks i test na ilang blood after collection then whichever bags ang nag positive they are sent for confirmation to Manila (RITM) kung AIDS ba gyud.

katong nakatrabaho ko sa blood bank infairness sa akong 4 months nga stay nakasugat kog around 5 ka positive for AIDS. lol. although i didn't hear about the confirmation result ato.

i'm afraid the statistics stated for the HIV cases in blood bags reported for Cebu counted those that i encountered lol. hopefully not.

naa gyud limitations ang atong instruments sa pag detect. mao nay uban bags with HIV makalusot.
