share lang pud ko sa ako tips dri..

    i'm using:
    - microsoft security essentials
    - comodo internet security suite(firewall only)
    - malwarebytes
    - spybot search & destory

so far, sukad nga nag install ko sa win7 ultimate naiko, i have never had any issues with virus, spyware, even latency issues with all these programs running in the background.

of course, common sense pud ang kailangan like don't open email attachments, even if gikan na sa kaila nimo. except if nagexpect jud ka ug email attachment from that person.

or don't click on links nga naa sa email nimo, again even if gikan na sa kaila nimo unless ikaw mismo ang request ato nga link.

as they say, prevention is better than cure.

The dream of any passionate computer user is to be the master of puppets when it comes to their machine.

That means that every piece of software, every automatic action that is done on the operating system should be in your complete and utter control.

Of course, this rarely happens. Windows has all kinds of software which have automatic updates, for instance. Everything is designed to come to our aid, but perhaps that's not what we want.

A very practical utility tool that can help in this matter is XP-Antispy.

Even with the very best anti-spyware devices running, spyware still seems to find its way into your online computers, so, the Secure Keys idea is, to assume that you are being spied on, sometimes, and to operate invisible to these spies.

Secure Keys is a very sophisticated, antispy, on-screen keyboard which you can use instead of you regular, physical keyboard, or Windows on-screen keyboard to send key strokes directly from its window to the destination, window-to-web page, or window-to-window, so conventional, key-logger spies will not see it. .

Secure Keys is a security utility, built to enter short expressions, particularly, ..usernames, and ..passwords, on ...logon web pages in Internet Explorer (and IE clones), but it can also be used to enter text in application window textboxes. . SecureKeys manages window focus flawlessly, and sends key strokes invisibly.
