how come USA has the highest number of teenage pregnancies and HIV cases when they have implemented the Reproductive health bill (or whatever they call it in their country)? basig naay kulang, something more important to implement, dili lang population control ang ipasanay.

sobra ka daghag anak => pa abort ang ma sobra nga ma himo? it's like running away from a parent's responsibility.

i think it's how the family deals with it. more income perhaps? better create more jobs to support more people and feed more families.

^^its boils down to the culture. US is more liberated when it comes to that so its expected to have the most cases in HIV.

which meant that their campaign for the use of contraceptives are counter-productive. and thus will need more abortions for these teenage pregnancies. lol.

abortion could be a way to protect the mother's life. or the quality of life of the family.. (Ex, sobra ka daghan anak)..

it may sound evil.. but its the practical approach.. unsa pa man imu ipakaon sa sobra kadaghan anak oi.. you cant even provide proper healthcare and education.. furthermore. pabigat ra ka sa imu mga silingan or imu mga igsoon..

killing a terrorist or in self defense is not comparable to abortion.. come to think of it, it's common sense. Even if you manage to justify that it's for a sake of the mother, do you think it's guilt free? Abortion is a big NO.

Abortion could be portrayed as a refuge to some women where their health is at stake but hey the quality of life sa family? Are you saying abortion is the solution to excess number of children in the family?? I must say you are out of line there.

You're practical approach is so lame, practical tuod cya but consider the price of it. Death of an innocent child. You cant justify abortion in that sense. Swerte ka wala ka gipa abort.. lisod na imong gi sulti. Again your reason why abortion is acceptable is just so lame, sorry to be frank with you.

^ what do you consider abortion? Do you agree with the OP that use of birth control pills is already tantamount to abortion, even though in many jurisdictions it's not abortion if it's not a fetus. Of course this simply requires some common sense, not that I expect the church and its goons to have any.

Instead of preventing conception (fertilization), it prevents implantation in some cases, so it acts as abortifacient rather than contraceptive. I just read that idea somewhere and I just want to share it with you.

The classical definition of the word “contraception” comes from the Latin (contra = opposed to, and concepto = conceive.)
The most common forms of contraception today — IUDs, low-dose oral contraceptive pills, which are the safest type of oral contraceptive pills available — act as abortifacients. abortifacients end the life of the early developing human being after the sperm and egg have been united.
Plan B, which is marketed in the US as a morning after pill, is essentially a contraceptive. It is not an abortifacient. There is a lot of misinformation going around, which personally, I find so unsavory, because people use it to sway others to their "agenda". We should just deal with facts and facts alone. First, we need to define what "abortion" and "abortifacient" are. Abortion is the termination of a pregnancy by the removal or expulsion of a fetus or embryo from the uterus, resulting in or caused by its death. An abortifacient is a substance that induces abortion. Those definitions are pretty simple and straight-forward. Anyone who reads those definitions will know what they mean. It is really rather elementary. So for people to say, that something is an abortifacient because it PREVENTS implantation...it is quite erroneous. ABORTION happens AFTER the fact, PREVENTION happens BEFORE the fact. Even the word ABORT, it is defined in the dictionary as, the premature termination of a flight (as of an aircraft or spacecraft), a mission, or an action or procedure relating to a flight. That is the basic flaw of some people's arguments. You cannot use the words PREVENT and ABORT in the same sentence and have them make sense. They just don't fit. In order for you to abort something, that something must already be in process, it must already be in existence. If you are preventing something from existing, then you are not aborting it, are you? I don't see how people can get so confused about this whole issue nga simple ra man unta ni.

Anyway, back to Plan B, which zealots are calling THE abortion pill. If anyone is brave enough to risk it, try taking one dose of the pill or even two or three doses when you're already pregnant. It will NOT abort your baby. Now, if you took any number of toxic anti-cancer drugs when you're pregnant? You will LOSE that baby for sure. In the true definition of the word, that is what I would call an abortifacient.

mao ning klarohon una sa tanang filipinos kung unsa about ang RH bill. lain man gud, ang kongreso ray mu decide nga ma pasa ni nga bill pero ang mga pinoy tawn ignorante kaayo. let the debates and education pour in first para maklaro ang both sides ayha ipasa ang bill.
