@ LADYJEAN .... many people already gave their list of EXPENSIVE RESTO'S in Cebu . Its up to you to chooose or find one for yourself w/c is not really that hard , check the yellow pages , ask around , front desk of Waterfront and marriot could help you out also by providing spots around the city .

Regarding sa story nimo , if I were you and I am the host , money is not a question also , I will set the meeting up in a conference hall in a decent hotel like Waterfront Lahug but I prefer Mactan because they can relax after and find good and expensive resto's too or in Shangrila w/c is also in Mactan . You guys n gals are talking about business , investments etc and it should be in a manner of privacy and not in the middle of a loud and not so loud environment like a restaurant .

Having a meeting in a resto is what we call a CASUAL MEETING , Investors man kaha na imong dalhon so be prepared to make it into a FORMAL MEETING , remember in the BUSINESS WORLD yadz ... first impression is the last impression . HTH .

if you are trying to woo investors....you do not choose the food on the menu...it is not proper in my opinion...dapat jud sila papili-on nimo kung unsa ila gusto eat...parang lalake ba ka-date and nililigawan nya... if they choose the most expensive dish...aw be prepared to pay. as they say it here...pa-tuga-tuga ka enter.

better u say na lang what is your budget for how many people and then we can probably be of better help to you.

as i have said before...MAGKANO BUDGET MO?  ano ba ang hindi common para sa iyo?  how do we know what is not common for us is common diay to u?  basin ba nga ang common mo eh golden cowrie or cafe laguna (to borrow tol's suggestion) and for us to suggest the same would be useless. 

oh and btw...i read ur post before you edited it....you went rambling about this and this and that....BUT i will still stick to my question...ano ang konek nya sa food and dining?  sabi mo sa post mo na makatabang ni nato...it can give us jobs...  basaha ra gud usab inday.

As an example of of a scenario comparable sa " MOST DINING RESTAURANT " you are looking for but not sure on how much you are willing to spend because you are looking for the lesser price and you wished to find out or have an idea how much you can send , dont ask for TH MOST EXPENSIVE .

My good friend from Ormoc who is a rich guy , when I say he is rich , he uses his platinum Rolex everyday like it is Timex asked assistance from me for a booking of a hotel in Vegas in 2 months time . Because the rich guy he is , I am offering him the 3 best hotels Vegas can offer and he asked me if I am to stay in 1 of those 3 , considering I wanted the best one what would I choose ? I told him , is money being compromised here ? he said no so I told him , NO DOUBT that one and he said go book me 1 and I will pay it in card thru the phone .

My point is , if you are looking for THE MOST , your budget should not doubt its buying power .
