for experience programmers especially in OOP, you can grab any books from Alex Martelli for overview, then you can start working in your project with a book from O'reilly, "Python Cookbook" I don't know what's the latest edition, but my one is the old 2nd Edition,5 years already and still usefull to me

I don't really save a lot of books, or reading those PDF files (but to be honest I used to it, but not anymore).

And don't forget to join any python user's group, I don't know if PPUG (pinoy python users group) is still active. Coz I never heard about it na last june or july during python asia pacific meeting in singapore.

there's a lot of great topic being dicuss during meetings, newsletters, and countless of emails.

unfortunately topics are not in my field mostly focusing on web such how to utilize python in Google Application Engine,Ajax Django App, Python Games, Python in Finance etc...

I use python in the field of engineering, in shipbuilding & construction, in producing automated drawings, report, calculation, 3d modelling and etc...

    GOODLUCK to all python users
