Kung dili gyud solid ang argument,
    malutsan gyud na....=)

Maorag, sukwahi man gud,the Pope is only trying to balance
reality and belief, it's been conflicted because of our misdeeds.

Then comes to mind, kinsa kahay gusto molusot karon.

people are entitled to their own concept of morality..

morality is just an excuse for doing or not doing something...

mao jud ni mahitabo kung torn between two beliefs ka... there is guaranteed confusion..

the pope should have either encouraged the use of condom for whatever purpose it may serve or he should have maintained the conservative stance...

its just another version of "PAG-SURE OI"... hehehe

    It's never been an excuse,
it's a guide for us to reach a common goal that is to become civilized.
If you don't follow then, it's quite easy to tell what are you and who you are....=)

    It's the same belief,
it's about life the flourishing and the preservation of life.
The conflict being created by us is quite innate in that belief.

A lot of people already died because of AIDS, then somehow, perhaps
because they have their own definition about morality, and did not heed the church's
admonition and teachings succumb to such a malady.
Then how would the church react seeing these lost people dying because of being so stubborn,
in their practice of the so called freewill, of course they will try to save them based on what's
    being tought.
I think we do believe that as long as there is life in a man, he always have the chance to
change for the better and repent with all the sins that he committed.

It's about protecting life, and giving that life a chance for salvation for the next ultimate life.

hitler thought it was morally correct to exterminate jews during his time.. so did the japanese thought on how they treated their prisoners in ww2.. in some places, even rape and murder is moral.. an example would be the honor killings in some parts of the middle east.. they believe its the right thing to do.. who are you to judge them by your own standards..

    there is no definite morality..

but on how people interpret morality, you will no where they come from..

so you maybe evil in the eyes of others as you see others to be evil...

arent you as a christian taught not to judge others by your own understanding?

they dont get aids by being dis-obedient to your imaginary friend.. they got aids because of ignorance on the actual facts about AIDS. because they had no access to information or they where denied information by those groups who consider such knowledge as immoral..

Then why is Hitler being branded as the most evil?
No we cannot judge but we should know right from wrong,
In our present civilization, do you think that such a horrific deeds is still acceptable?.
The if you do, I guess a lot of people would abhor you, for such a stance is so inhumane
    and anti life.

If exact utilization of s3x is practiced as per the church teachings that is only for propagation, then it's already a big deterrent. Abuse of one's body through drug addiction was also stated
and promulgated, and science is there already disseminating the information.
Actually it's a clear cooperation between science and religion in the prevention of AIDS, Science
on the technical aspects and religion on the moral aspects, but is the call being heeded?.
Nobody should be blamed but only those who had this disease and those who are so careless
    enough in administering this disease.
